We’re thrilled to share that our recent networking event was a wonderful evening of connection and learning, bringing together 60 professionals for a dynamic exchange of ideas and experiences.

We had a fantastic turnout at the Economic Outlook Luncheon, with 80 attendees joining us for an insightful and engaging discussion led by Dr. Jeffrey Roach, Chief Economist. Dr. Roach shared his expert analysis on the current economic landscape, offering valuable insights on key topics: market trends, inflation forecasts and economic growth. What a way to wrap up our incredible first year! We had an unforgettable evening celebrating with our Members, Sponsors, and Board at our holiday celebration. Giving Back with Gratitude! To kick off this season of thankfulness, CRExCLT partnered with Crisis Assistance Ministry for a meaningful day of service! Our members and board spent Saturday working in their warehouse, organizing essentials for the Free Store. We’re so grateful for organizations like Crisis Assistance that support the citizens of our beloved city every day. Thank you to everyone who came out to lend a hand—your dedication makes a difference!
CRExCLT's inaugural Golf and Pickleball tournament was a tremendous success, bringing together over 132 golfers and 38 pickleball players for a fun-filled day. The event was blessed with beautiful weather, wonderful sponsors lining the course, and an engaging awards dinner to cap off the festivities. Thanks to the impressive support from our mulligan sales, paired with CRExCLT’s matching contribution, we raised $4,700 for the Hope Street Food Pantry. This donation will support 470 families during the Thanksgiving season, helping make a meaningful impact in our community.
We hosted a membership appreciation coffee for all our members who have been with us during this inaugural year. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and to all 147 members who have joined us so far! It was a great opportunity for our members to network, pick up some swag, learn about upcoming events, and connect with our committee leaders. Your support has been invaluable, and we’re excited to continue growing together!

We hosted a "Coffee for a Cause" event, bringing our members together to pack backpacks for the Children's Hope Alliance. During the event, we heard inspiring words from the organization and were thrilled by the generous donations. Thanks to our members, we were able to provide over 70+ backpacks filled with essential supplies, along with additional thousand dollars in monetary donations. Thank you for giving back to our community!
We hosted an enlightening panel discussion on "The Shifting Landscape of Space Optimization," led by industry experts who shared invaluable insights and strategies for navigating the constantly evolving field of space management. Following the panel, we moved downstairs to enjoy games and delicious food on the beautiful patio. Thank you all for attending and making the event a success!
We hosted our first CRExChange, where we led round table discussions on the most relevant topics facing our CRE industry today. This event fostered small group interactions and meaningful discussions. We were also honored to be joined by a local artist and the founder of GenOne, who shared their inspiring work and efforts in supporting the youth in our community. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together!
CREXCLT rallied together with a shared purpose: to celebrate Earth Day by taking action. Leaders and members united with Sustain Charlotte to restore the beauty of the Cambell Creek Greenway, embodying the spirit of environmental stewardship. Through their collective efforts, they not only cleaned up the stream and greenway but also fostered a sense of community and commitment to preserving our planet for future generations.
Over 140 individuals gathered with us to delve into the significance of elevating Placemaking, guided by key leaders in the field. Adding a vibrant touch to the occasion, we were honored to host three talented local artists who beautifully captured the essence of our event through their artistry, immortalizing the experience for all who attended. It was a truly enriching convergence of minds and creativity, paving the way for deeper insights and meaningful connections within our community.
CRExCLT launched our chapter with a dynamic Coffee Meetup at Station West, a beloved local coffee shop. Our Executive Board took the stage to passionately convey our mission, vision, and the driving force behind initiating a new chapter dedicated to fostering the growth and connectivity of Charlotte's corporate real estate community. It was a momentous occasion filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a shared commitment to making a meaningful impact in the vibrant landscape of Charlotte's corporate real estate community.
The inaugural event hosted by CRExCLT was nothing short of spectacular! With a holiday networking theme, our goal was to foster connections within the community while introducing our organization. The turnout exceeded our expectations, and we were thrilled to witness the immense support from our members and guests. Most importantly, we seized the opportunity to give back to our community by collecting an astounding four trunk loads of toys for Novant Hemby Children's Hospital. Giving back is at the heart of what we do at CRExCLT, and this event reaffirmed our commitment to one of our core pillars: making a positive impact in Charlotte and beyond.
